1. Overview

FlashTube respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to valid copyright infringement notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.

Important Note on Hosting: > FlashTube primarily links to external content. We are not responsible for material hosted on third-party websites. Before filing a notice, please verify that the infringing material is actually hosted on our servers and not simply linked from elsewhere.

User Guidelines: Please do not post content that you do not own. We recommend sharing URLs or linking to images hosted on other websites rather than uploading files directly.



2. Filing a Copyright Complaint

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please send a written notice to our designated agent Martin Beek at m.beek@codeinc.nl containing:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • Identification of the infringing material with enough detail to locate it (URL)
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

    • Important: First, make sure that the infringing material is actually hosted on FlashTube. FlashTube generally only links to material on other websites.



    3. Counter-Notification

    If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing: identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake, your contact information, and consent to jurisdiction. Counter-notifications should be sent to Martin Beek at m.beek@codeinc.nl.



    4. Repeat Infringers

    In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
